SDOT: Alki Point "Keep Moving Street": Sharing part 2 of the survey summary
Information from Seattle Department of Transportation
Thank you to everyone who took our project survey, emailed, called, or joined a community meeting to give input on the permanent design for the Alki Point Keep Moving Street.
We have finished analyzing the more than 2,000 responses to the Alki Point Keep Moving Street Survey and additional outreach like emails, phone calls, stakeholder meetings, and door-to-door business outreach.
The outreach summary is in two parts:
- Part 1 can be found here (revised May 11). Part 1 contains the survey results to the first section of our online survey. These questions were aimed to help us understand how the street is or isn't working well in its current condition.
- Part 2 can be found here. It contains the results from the second set of questions, which include summarized open-ended responses to three sets of design elements.
Thank you to the over 2,000 people that participated in our online survey and to the nearby businesses and stakeholders who met with us!
Our next step is to begin the design process with the community. We plan to start this process in early fall 2022. This will include sharing the preferred design and working with the community refine that design as we work together toward final project design.
