These awards were made to students at West Seattle High School at the end of the school year.

These students are graduating in the top 10% of all the graduates in the State of Washington based on an index of their accumulative GPA and their SAT/ACT scores. This year, the school had more than ever before.

All told, 61 students have received scholarships so far for over $750,000. There may be more coming. Additionally, 111 gold cords were awarded to the Seniors who are graduating with a 3.2-4.0 accumulative GPA. This is over 48 percent of the total graduating class. |
