Greg Davis Park

Monday, May 12, 2008

Southwest Brandon Street and 26th Avenue Southwest

This 2.35-acre site memorializes the efforts of Delridge activist Greg Davis. Davis bequeathed $20,000 for native plants there, and since then volunteers have worked to realize his vision. It has pathways, benches, descriptive signs and an ADA-accessible "gateway" to a public-access area of Longfellow Creek, where children annually release salmon raised in the classroom.
